SEO Keyword Density / Keyword Weight
 Keyword Density / Keyword Weight
These two parameters are almost synonyms, but there’s a bit of difference between them. They actually refer to the same indicator the percentage of keywords as compared to the general total number of words on a page. This effects results of the search engine result page (SERP) where the ranking is based in part on the percentage of words on a page that are similar to the words used in the query. Keyword density can be artificially inflated it’s then called “keyword stuffing” by the search engine and is considered spam.
Picture it this way if the page has a large text content the density of a single word or phrase can be greatly diluted. If the page has less total text with the same amount of keywords it’s density score for those keywords will be higher. Inclusion of the keyword in any part of the shown page will influence the score so do not forget to adjust the title, heading and ALT text descriptors in the images to get a naturally better score.
The BODY text of the page should try to get a density of 3-7% for each keyword you optimize for on that page. Â Keywords or key phrases should only be repeated 3-7 times for every 100 words.
Consider the keyword density / keyword weight when writing up the text on page. It will infleunce how your page gets found.
